Google Chrome on Android gets rolled out further giving web browsing a boost
Beta version free to download
If you don’t already use Google Chrome on your Mac or PC, stop reading, go and download it and then ask yourself how you browsed the web without it.
If you’ve got an Android smartphone or tablet there’s further good news with Google making Chrome available from all Google Play marketplaces and in a total of 32 languages.
Ok so it’s currently in Beta and your device will need to run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but it’s enough to hold bragging rights over your Apple counterparts who can only enjoy a whiff of Google’s electric browser.
Though the Beta version has previously been available to download in some countries, Google has updated the app giving it a wider global reach.
The app is free to download, enables multiple pages to be open at any one time and will increase the speed at which it takes websites to load along with scrolling and zooming around a page.
You’ll be able send pages from your computer to your mobile device and vice versa as well as bookmark your favourite sites.?
You can even save pages and view them offline.
Useful should your commute to work each day include a stint on the underground.
You can read our hands-on with Google Chrome for Android here.

Google+ gets new look, new features
Updated design
Google has announced that Google+, its social network, is getting a major design overhaul? with a new user interface to make things easier to share.?
The new features and new look is still to be rolled out to the 170m Google+ users, however that hasn’t stopped Google detailing what you can expect to see when the update does land in your Google+.?
“One of the first things you’ll notice is a new way to get around the stream. Instead of static icons at the top, there’s a dynamic ribbon of applications on the left.”
According to Google “This approach comes with lots of perks” like the ability to drag apps up or down to create the order you want, the ability to hover over certain apps to reveal a set of quick actions and the ability to show or hide apps if you don’t want them.?
Like Facebook, Google is seeing that people like sharing photos so it is doing its best, without buying companies like Instagram for $1bn, to make photo sharing easier and more enjoyable.?

You now get full bleed photos and videos, a stream of conversation “cards” that make it easier to scan and join discussions, and an activity drawer that highlights the community around your content.?
Google+ Hangouts also gets a stronger focus in the new design and now there is now a dedicated Hangouts page.?
Finally, if you are bored with your life you can see what others are chirping about with a new “Explore page” that shows what’s interesting and trending across the network.
According to Google the company is rolling out the new update in the next couple of days.
