Nikon Coolpix S230 Firmware 1.1 Released

Nikon has rolled out a new firmware update ‘version 1.1′ for its Coolpix S230 digital compact camera. The update fixes “an issue that, in some rare cases, prevented accurate recording of pictures taken in Night landscape or Dusk/dawn scene mode has been resolved.” You’ll be able to download the update starting today via Nikon’s official website. The Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA100 is claimed to be the first Full HD camcorder in the world. This video recorder can be used to a depth of 3 meters underwater for up to 60 minutes. It is able to record Full HD videos (1920 x 1080 pixels) and capture 14-megapixel still pictures. The video recorder has the “High-Speed Sequential Shooting” mode that allows the camera to capture up to 22 photos at 7 frames per second. Casio has recently released another special edition camera ‘EXILIM EX-Z330 Ultraman Special Edition’ in Japan to celebrate Ultraman’s 40th Anniversary. Limited to just 600 units, this compact camera is packed with a special Ultraman startup screen and photo shooting effects. Meanwhile, the rest of the specs remain unchanged as the original version, you’ll find a 12.1-megapixel image sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, an SD/SDHC memory card slot, ISO up to 1600 and 720p HD video recording (30fps). The Casio EXILIM EX-Z330 Ultraman Special Edition is now available in Japan for 29,000 Yen (about $317), and is bundled with an Ultraman camera case.
