Fujiflm has announced a minor upgrade to the S9500 (aka S9000) in the shape of the FinePix S9600 (to be known as the FinePix S9100 in the USA). The new model is claimed to offer better low light performance, faster operation and improved image quality thanks to a new processor. Externally almost indentical to its predecessor, the S9600 has the same resolution (9 million pixels) and the same 10.7x optical zoom.
